- Roosevelt & Fairbanks: Golden Bear Jugate and Rare Bull Moose Slogan Pin. We offer two real nice 7/8" TR buttons. The first is a colorful jugate that was issued in California. It shows a bear (symbol of the California Republic) beneath a golden sunrise. It has a Pulver back paper and is in mint condition. These are usually seen cracked, stained or faded. The other button has pictures of an elephant and bull moose. It is inscribed "Republicans Bull Moosers Get Together". It was issued in 1912 by opponents of Woodrow Wilson, whose election seemed assured due to the TR and Taft rift. It, too, is in mint condition. (Item 19729)
