Welcome to the Private Collection of Jim Halperin

Welcome to James Halperin's private collections of comic books and comic art, and Jim & Gayle Halperin's collections of art, decorative arts, sculpture, other antiques and collectibles. This is just a partial listing. As you can see, we're compulsive collectors (especially Jim!), and we've managed to accumulate tens of thousands of individual items, many common, but some quite rare. We will be adding more to this web site as quickly as we can get them photographed and described.

Please share your collecting interests with us, and let us know which pieces you would like to see more of. Also, any information or comments on the items displayed will be most appreciated, especially if you notice any errors in the descriptions or if you know interesting things about them that we might not.

We're always willing to consider purchasing or trading for items that fit with our collecting interests, and will often buy entire collections to obtain items we need. If you know of a major collection that is for sale in the areas we collect, we will gladly pay you a finder's fee for an introduction that results in a transaction. We also occasionally sell duplicates or excess material both privately and at auction, so if you are interested in a piece, let us know and we'll contact you if it is ever for sale.
